Our linen woven 30 hour clock rope specially manufactured with an internal core running through the centre of the weave. The core allows the clock rope to be traditionally spliced to give the rope a neat, near invisible joint, if spliced correctly. The clock rope is supplied in 6 different diameters allowing a snug fit on the movements internal spiked sprockets. The diameter of the clock rope should be chosen carefully as if to small it will not engage with the driving spikes properly, or if to large will ride above the spikes or jam between the sprocket cheeks. The clock rope is supplied in 11.5ft lengths (3505mm), which is long enough for most standard 30 hour clocks and birdcage movements.
