The tourmaline coated plates retain the hairs natural moisture, to leave the hair shiny and smooth, while being the ideal size to allow easy styling for short hair. The Pencil Straightener is ideal for tidying up fringes or fly away hair and with a top temperature of 200 degrees within seconds, you can achieve ideal hair in minutes - whatever your style. The Wahl Pencil Straightener can be used on human hair / natural hair wigs, hairpieces and extensions. However, please note the Straightener must be used on a lower temperature between 150 and 180 degrees and you should also check the instructions that come with you wigs, hairpieces and extensions. Note: If the desired temperature is 200°C the red light will be lit as the straightener heats to the required temperature, when reached the straightener will cut off and the light will go out, when the temperature drops below 190°C the straightener will active until 200°C is reached and the red light will light up, the length of time the straightener reactivates for will depend on the heat loss which is effected by the use, for instance on wet hair more temperature will be lost and it will take a little longer to climb back to the desired temperature. The straightener will cut out once the desired temperature is reached and only reactive long enough to maintain the temperature selected.
