Directions for Use Getting Started Plug the curling tong into a standard household outlet. Slide the switch up to turn it ON. The indicator light will illuminate and the tong will begin heating quickly. To turn the tong OFF, slide the switch down — the light will go out. Before You Style Make sure your hair is completely dry and brushed through to remove any knots. Always use the curling tong with care and never leave it switched on and unattended. How to Curl Press the clamp button and place a section of hair between the clamp and the barrel, spreading the hair evenly. Gently slide the tong toward the ends. To prevent crimped ends, ensure the ends are fully secured under the clamp in the direction you want the curl to form. Wind the hair around the barrel to the height you want the curl, keeping the tong away from the scalp. Hold for 5–8 seconds, depending on your hair’s length and texture. For tighter curls, curl smaller sections. For looser curls, use larger sections. Press the clamp button to release the hair and gently slide the tong out.
