These cotton tea towels are made from the finest quality virgin or ‘fresh’ cotton yarn (i.e. non-recycled fibres) – the yarn is woven to make a linen-type cloth that is both soft and ultra-absorbent. The finely woven material of the kitchen towels means they are designed for even the most delicate of kitchen glassware, crystal and silverware. The quality of the cotton cloth means there will be no smudges, smears or fluff left on your dishes. PLEASE WASH your towels on a short 40 degrees cycle before using them for the first time. This will remove residues left from production and will allow the cotton fibres to expand - forming a tighter knit. We do not recommend the use of fabric softener as this will affect absorbency. PLEASE NOTE: tumble dry on low heat to avoid excessive shrinkage. Up to 4% shrinkage is normal for this type of cotton cloth.
