- What is it / what is it used for? Viktoria Renkat is a type of reductive bleach that contains no chlorine and does not damage washable fabrics like chlorine bleach. It is mainly used to remove or reduce the color from the fabric before dyeing, creating a blank base for dyeing to a true color. It is effective on cotton, linen, silk, wool, ramie, and viscose.
- Depending on how it was dyed during production, it may have limited effects on polyester. Unfortunately, Viktoria Renkat cannot remove a pattern or print from a fabric. In addition, it cannot remove the indigo blue colour of denim. Use Renkat paint remover in a well-ventilated area. Open any window and turn on a fan if you have one.
- How do I use Renkat Paint Remover? For best results, we recommend using the cooking method to maintain a temperature close to the boiling point. However, you can also use Renkat with the washing machine or the rinse or bucket method, but then you may get less reliable results.
- Cooking method: wash the product in warm soapy water beforehand. Fill a stainless steel pot with so much water that the fabric can move freely. Cover the pot and heat the water on the stove to just below the boiling point (93°C). When the water starts to boil, add a pack of Renkat. Mix well. Store at low boiling temperature. Moisten the product you want to dye and put it in the water.
- Stir occasionally. Some fabrics lose their colour after 10 minutes, while others may take up to 20 minutes. If your clothes turn white or cream, you can take them out of the bathroom. Rinse in warm water and then gradually cool the water until the rinse water starts to become clear. Wash in warm water with mild detergent, rinse and dry. The product can now be painted.

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.
The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
