About this item
  • Latin Name: Vibrunum plicatum Mariesii
  • Common Name: Japanese Snowball
  • Characteristics: Viburnum Mariesii is a deciduous shrub with dark green, neatly veined leaves that will turn purple in the Autumn months, alongside red and black fruiting. The plant will flower in Spring through elegant white budding and lacecap flowerheads. Due to the plants deciduous nature, it will lose its leaves later in the year, before returning with fresh new foliage in Spring.
  • Plant Advice: Viburnum should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun at the best of times. You should avoid overwatering the plant as this will affect its growth and progression. They will require regular watering in scenarios such as when they are first planted or in longer periods of drought.

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
