What is Vernagel? Vernagel is designed specifically to cope with bodily fluids, trapping them in a dry semi-solid gel within a bedpan or urinal prior to disposal. Using Vernagel saves patients the embarrassment and indignity which can follow an accidental spill and reduces the risk of cross-infection to patients and staff. What is New & Improved? For the same quantity per sachet (7g), the brand new formula means it can absorb 3 times more, up to 1.2 litres in total resulting in less spillages, easier disposal and improved infection control. New packaging with Vernacare branding & warning message to avoid product mis-use on each individual sachet and dispenser. Put one sachet of Vernagel into: Bedpans, slipper pans, male or female urinals, vomit bowls, washbowls before use to solidify liquid and prevent spills. Do not open the sachet. Disposal: Dispose of single-use item and Vernagel into the Vernacare disposal unit. Where not possible, empty into toilet or slop hopper. Where can you use Vernagel?
