- CHOI SUM HON TSAI TAI: Colourful stalks, leaves and buds, delicious for stir-fries. Sow outdoors March to August, 0.5cm deep in a prepared bed. Keep moist. Thin out to 15cm apart, when large enough to handle. Pick stalks and young leaves as required, plants will regrow for up to 4 cuts, allow some plants to develop to full size. HARVEST: May to October. SEEDS: 200 Approx.
- MIZUNA KYOTO: Easy to grow, tangy leaves for soups and stir-fries. Sow outdoors March to August, in large patio pots, containers or a prepared seed bed. Sow thinly, then cover lightly with fine soil. Protect early sowings with cloches. No thinning out is required for baby leaves, thin out to 25cm apart for mature plants. Keep moist and do not allow plants to dry out. HARVEST: April to November, take a few leaves from each plant, they will regrow for several cuts. SEEDS: 500 Approx.
- ONION (SPRING) LONG WHITE TOKYO: A great tasting, essential ingredient for so many oriental dishes. Sow outdoors March to June, into large patio pots or a prepared seed bed. Sow thinly and cover with 0.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Protect with cloches if soil is cold and wet. Thin out by harvesting alternate young onions, giving the others space to develop. If sown thinly no other thinning out is required. For continuous crops, sow every 2-3 weeks. Keep moist and weed free. HARVEST: May to October. SEEDS: 350 Approx.
- PEPPER (CHILLI) THAI CULINARY: Classic red chillies with plenty of flavour and heat. Sow indoors February to April in individual pots of moist compost and keep at 15-20°C. Transplant to 10cm pots when seedlings are approx. 5cm tall. Plant out under glass in May, or harden off and plant outside in early June, into grow bags or large pots, in a warm sunny sheltered location. Feed plants regularly. HARVEST: July to October. Caution Can irritate skin and eyes. SEEDS: 20 Approx.
- PAK CHOI HEI XIA F1: Extremely versatile crunchy stems and succulent leaves. Sow outdoors March to August, 0.5cm deep in a prepared bed. Keep moist. Thin out to 25cm apart, when large enough to handle. Pick baby leaves as required, plants will regrow for up to 4 cuts or allow plants to mature. HARVEST: June to October. SEEDS: 125 Approx.
- RADISH DAIKON MOOLI MINOWASE NR 2: Large crisp roots with mild flavour, for sushi and stir fries. Sow outdoors May to August, in a prepared seed bed. Sow thinly in rows 30cm apart and cover with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist at all times. Thin out to 15cm apart then harvest alternate roots evenly from the row, giving the others space to develop further. Keep moist and weed free. HARVEST: August to November. SEEDS: 100 Approx.
