MPO (multi-fibre push-on) cabling system - These trunk cables are used as a permanent link connection between the MPO modules. The trunk cables have 12 fibers. They are terminated on both sides with a 12 fibre MPO connector of the female version. The MPO (multi-fibre push-on) cabling system is an easy to use solution based on a high-density connector and 12-fiber flat fiber optic cables. This system is widely used in data centers, but can also be used e.g. between server rooms. Designed for reliable and fast handling, it offers the advantages of small footprint and maximum scalability. The pre-assembled MPO cables can be fanned out to other connector types, usually LC connectors, to connect to standard fiber optic products or services. Essential facts about MPO MPO connections usually bring 12 fibers together in a single plug. A connection must be firm and the fibre ends must be neatly strung together. These requirements are essential to achieve the desired transmission parameters. Therefore, there are MPO plugs in a "male" version (with pins) or in a "female" version (without pins). The pins ensure that the front sides of the connectors meet each other in the correct position and thus also the fibre ends are precisely joined. There are different methods of allocating the 12 fiber ends. Our trunk cables are assembled according to method A (pin 1 to pin 1). Notes: All cables offered are halogen-free (LS0H). The connectors are low-loss connectors with particularly low insertion loss.
