Chango, or Shango, is an Orisha, or god, of the religions of Yoruba (Nigeria), Santeria, and Voodoo. He is the god of lightning, war, thunder, and fire. His is one of the most popular Orishas and traditional ceremonies in his honor are still performed in Africa, South America, and Latin America today.
