Product Description The UBS1RF’s high performance optical sensor detects fires, including smouldering fires quickly while reducing the risk of false alarms in rooms next to kitchens. The outstanding quality and reliability is certified to BS EN 14604:2005. Easy to install and easy to test and silence. The reliable UBS1RF will alert you quickly to any fires and will give you extra time to escape safely. Once the alarm detects fire it signals to all connected alarms to raise alarms across the entire building. The false alarm reduction by optical smoke alarms makes it unlikely that the test and silencing button will ever be used in case of false alarming. Nevertheless, the bevelled button makes it easy to test and silence the alarm. The UBS1RF only measures 125mm in diameter, making it one of the most compact smoke alarms in the UK. Including the baseplate the alarm only measures 35mm in height, a truly impressive power pack. Legal Disclaimer Due to the replaceable batteries used in this alarm it is NOT a type that is permitted for use in Scottish homes from February 2021. Mains-operated alarms (with battery backup) are permitted, and tamper proof long-life lithium battery alarms (i.e. not PP3 type or user-replaceable) are also permitted.
