UHR Hammerite Kurust Converter, Fast-Acting Rust Treatment, Converts into a Stable Surface, Long-Lasting Protection for Metal Surfaces, Ideal for Gates, Railings, 90ml

• TRANSFORMS RUST IN JUST 15 MINUTES: Hammerite Kurust is designed to deliver fast and effective rust treatment without lengthy waiting times. The liquid reacts with the rust on the surface, causing a chemical transformation that turns flaky, reddish-brown rust into a hard, black coating. This stable layer not only halts further rusting but also creates a strong base for painting or finishing.
• NO NEED FOR HEAVY SANDING OR RUST REMOVAL: You don’t need to spend hours with sandpaper, wire brushes, or grinders trying to remove every trace of rust before painting. Hammerite Kurust does the hard work for you by chemically reacting with the rust and stabilising it. All you need to do is brush it straight onto the rusty area, and the formula transforms the rust into a solid, paintable surface.
• CREATES A STABLE SURFACE FOR PAINTING: Hammerite Kurust has been brushed onto a rusty surface and allowed to work; it doesn’t just stop at neutralising the rust — it also creates a tough, stable foundation. The treated area hardens into a smooth, black coating that paint can stick to easily, without peeling or lifting. Because of this, you can apply your chosen metal paint or finish directly on top, knowing it will adhere properly and last longer.
• STOPS RUST FROM SPREADING: This means Hammerite Kurust goes beyond simply hiding rust with a coating. Instead, it chemically reacts with the rust, changing its structure so it becomes stable and inactive. By doing this, it stops corrosion from spreading unseen beneath the surface — a common problem with ordinary paints or coatings. As a result, your metal items stay stronger for longer, and you don’t have to worry about rust eating away at them over time.
• SIMPLE BRUSH-ON APPLICATION: Hammerite Kurust is designed with simplicity in mind, so you don’t need specialist skills, tools, or experience to use it. All you have to do is apply it with a brush directly onto the rusty surface — no complicated preparation or rust-removal steps required. As it dries, you’ll see the rust chemically transform into a hard, black coating that’s stable and ready for paint.

Hammerite Kurust is the perfect solution for treating rusty metal surfaces quickly, easily, and effectively. Specially formulated to convert rust into a stable and durable surface, it works in just 15 minutes, saving you both time and effort when preparing metal for painting or further treatment. Once applied, the rust is chemically transformed into a tough, black protective layer, preventing further corrosion and ensuring a solid foundation for overcoating. This versatile rust converter is suitable for a wide range of applications, from outdoor items such as gates, fences, and railings to indoor and automotive projects, including garden tools, metal fixtures, car parts, and machinery. Its simple brush-on application makes it easy to use, even for DIY beginners, while delivering professional-quality results.
