A U Bolt is an industrial fastener in the shape of the letter U with two threaded legs extending from a curved or square base. U Bolts can be used in a range of applications such as supporting pipe work, agriculture and livestock trailers, boat trailers, fence posts, installation of TV aerials and satellite dishes as well as many other home and Industrial applications. The threaded legs of the bolt are designed to be used with nuts and washers. U Bolts can also be used with the included Back plate spanning across both threaded legs to make a more secure setting. HOW WE MEASURE. Our U Bolts are measured from the inside of the bolt and to the bottom of the thread, NOT from the centre. Please allow a tolerance of 1-2mm.
