The Twsbi Vac Mini fountain pen was born in early 2016 by the now renowned Twsbi who presented its model with the inverted syringe loading system (in English Vacuum Filler) in the "Mini" version, compact size. The length of the new Vac Mini is in fact 12.5 cm closed and corresponds to a slightly larger size than the mini model of the Diamond 580. The result is an optimal size pen for both carrying and practical use. The "Smoke" version resumes exactly the same colour of the Vac 700, combining the completely transparent color of the body with the smoke black finishes of the back and the handle. Let's move on to the loading system: the Vacuum Filler (or inverted syringe) works by unscrewing the pen back, pulling the piston outward and then dipping the fountain pen into the ink. At this point, pushing the piston towards the tip of the fountain pen, the ink enters the barrel of the pen and is ready to write. It is much loved by those who travel because this system avoids ink leaks in the plane thanks to a valve that opens and closes the writing group. An interesting feature is the possibility of screwing the cap on the back of the fountain pen. Like all Twsbi pens, the Vac Mini is completely removable and in the package we find a stick that allows you to disassemble the piston and all the various parts of the pen with a vial of silicone grease for maintenance.
