The new 580 model is an improved version of the Diamond 540, with a piston fill mechanism and 1.9cc ink capacity. Available as a Clear Demostrator, with a choice of nib widths. Comes with a smart, modern clear box and a little vial of silicone grease to lubricate the piston over time. There is an instruction sheet and small spanner to take the piston mechanism from the barrel to allow the lubricating. The nib, ink feed and grip section can also be taken apart for cleaning and maintenence - it is not advised unless necessary, but it can be done. Best advice is to enjoy the great design, writing experience and value! Don't forget that if you are from the UK or EU, when you buy a pen from outside the EU, like the USA, there are added charges when the pen arrives at customs in the UK.
