These blankets are very soft and warm, great for the British weather. Each blanket has a unique colour and pattern, no two blankets are the same. They are hand made in Ecuador by a small family business. Available in a range of colour. You can choose the general colour that you would like the blankets to be in - but please note the exact shades and colours will not exactly match the pictures due to the handmade nature of the item. Tumi was founded in 1978 promoting fair trade crafts and goods with Latin America, working closely with organisations such as Traidcraft and Oxfam Trading. Tumi has worked with our craftsmen in Ecuador for many years and ensures that we pay a fair price (set by our partners), good working conditions and a sustainable future for our workers. 100% Acylic wool. Please note that these blankets used to be made from alpaca wool but the rising costs of the raw materials has forced the small family business that make these blankets to switch to acylic wool. We are working with the supplier to produce an alpaca wool replacement, which should become available in 2015. In the meantime please be assured the acylic wool substitute is equally warm, soft and durable.
