Tulip ‘Dafeng’ is a vibrant Darwin hybrid that brings bold, saturated colour to the spring garden. Its large, cupped flowers glow in fiery blends of orange and red, with delicate yellow feathering around the petal edges. Tall, sturdy stems support the dramatic blooms, making this variety an excellent choice for both garden beds and indoor arrangements. Unlike many tulips, ‘Dafeng’ is reliably perennial, coming back for several years when planted in well-drained soil. This makes it not only a showy option but also a practical one for gardeners seeking consistent spring colour without replanting annually. How to Grow: Light: Plant in full sun Temperature: Hardy; plant bulbs in late summer to autumn Watering: Keep soil moist during active growth; avoid waterlogged conditions Feeding: Apply bulb fertiliser in spring when shoots appear Humidity: Tolerant of typical outdoor conditions; ensure good air circulation Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Decorative pots are not supplied.
