These handsome tulips are some of the prettiest and most flamboyant around. They display beautiful white variegated flowers with crimson red markings, and deep green variegated foliage to work as the perfect contrast to one another. This variety also benefits from blooming a little later than other tulips. Blooming in May, it helps to bridge the gap between spring and summer months where additional colour is always welcomed. This variety is perfect for cottage gardens and it also makes a brilliant cut flower for indoor displays, lasting for up to 10 days in a vase. Grow in pots, containers and use in borders. Bulbs should be planted on arrival and will grow well in any moist, well-drained soil, they do however struggle in particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. Avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring. Plant them at a depth of 15cm and at a distance of 13cm apart.
