The cotton ensures a high level of comfort and a soft, pleasant feeling, while the polyester contributes to the dimensional stability. Additional suspension ropes increase stability and make it easier to unfold the hammock. The suspension ropes are not attached to the hammock separately, but are incorporated directly into the hammock for greater reliability.
• Authentic South American hammock: The Tropilex hammocks are, depending on chosen style, either manufactured in Columbia, Brazil or Mexico and are 100% authentic. Each hammock comes with its own storage bag which doubles as transportation bag. The cotton of these Columbian and Brasilian hammocks in combination with the special weaving methods used in the manufacturing create their ultimate, soft character.
• FairTrade with South America: Our Tropilex hammocks are being hand woven by traditional hammock weavers in South America (Brasil, Columbia, Mexico) and bought by us with FairTrade. We visit the factories ourselves and ensure proper working conditions for our talented weavers as well as the quality of our products. Furthermore, we are part of "1% for the planet" and donate at least 1% of our yearly revenue to non-profit organizations for environmental protection.
