Product Description This process can be abnormal resulting in the formation of hypertrophic scars or keloids, which occur as a result of excessive production of dense fibrous tissue in the course of the process of healing a wound, often trivial. In both cases there is a higher number of cells producing collagen profiles that are not found in normal skin or non-hypertrophic healers. In both cases there is an abnormally high content of type v collagen, related to the presence of numerous capillaries in these scars. The general collagen nodules are observed very compact, often encapsulated by proteoglycans that together with specific protease inhibitors protect them from degradation. In order to limit as far as possible the appearance of hypertrophic scars and keloids, and to reduce them once established, these adhesive polyurethane plasters physically reduce the internal healing surface by facilitating prevention of healing. Protects scars from sunlight. Directions 1. Clean the wound thoroughly with a mild antiseptic solution. 2. Dry the area around the wound. 3. Cut the dressing to the appropriate size to cover the scar. 4. Remove the backing from the adhesive side of the dressing. 5. Apply the dressing to the scar, ensuring it is securely attached. 6. The dressing can be worn for more than a week and is waterproof. 7. Replace the dressing as needed or when it becomes soiled. 8. Monitor the wound for any signs of infection or adverse reactions.
