Product Description Scar Reducing Trofolastin helps reduce scars, improving their appearance. Trofolastin Scar Reducer is a polyurethane dressing made up of two layers that helps reduce scars by acting through a physical mechanism that increases the pressure on the scar and modifies the moisture under the dressing producing a correct arrangement of the collagen fibers, improving the appearance of the scar. Instructions for use: 1. Carefully clean and dry the scar area for easy application of Trofolastin Scar Reducer. 2. Open the envelope and separate the protective layers. Place the dressing on top of the scar, making sure that no folds form and that its edges are fixed on the skin. The dressing can be trimmed by adapting it to the dimensions of the scar (do not separate the protective layer before cutting and ensure that the size is sufficient to adhere to the healthy skin around the scar). 3. Trofolastin Scar Reducer can be kept fixed on the surface of the skin for up to 7 days. The dressing is single use. 4. To remove the dressing, gently lift a corner and carefully pull by lifting the edges of the dressing. Indications: 1. Reduction of hypertrophic or keloid scars. Trofolastin Scar Reducer can be used for the reduction of recent, or old, hypertrophic scars or keloids. 2. Helps prevent the formation of hypertrophic scars.
