Each round a rotating restaurant critic reveals one of forty-eight thematic briefs—such as “satisfy my sweet tooth” or “use a flamethrower”—while every chef drafts from 264 illustrated ingredient cards, discarding and redrawing to build the perfect hand. When a player calls “service”, all chefs pitch their improvised dishes; the critic awards their card to the recipe that best fits the brief. A full game lasts 15-30 minutes, teaches in under a minute, and keeps everyone involved to the end, making it equally at home with families, food lovers, and experienced gamers.
