• fill your containers with colour until the frosts arrive
• Performs equally well in cool or hot summer regions. Excellent for edging or rock gardens, but especially great in containers, baskets and window boxes. Clumps may be pruned hard in midsummer to rejuvenate the foliage and produce more flower buds.
• Soak the seeds for 48h before sowing. Sow 6 to 8 weeks before planting outdoors. Sow very finely onto the surface of pots containing moist seed compost. “Just cover” with a sprinkling of sieved soil (1/16th inch) Keep moist, watering from the base of the container but do not saturate the compost. Keep at a temperature of 18°C (65°F) in light but not strong sunlight.
