Rope U Bow fender for protecting the bow of your canal narrowboat. Made from black polypropylene rope woven around a rope core. The fenders core is made from four lengths of 38mm rope. The outside rope is made specially for Trafalgar Marine and has a 14 mm medium lay, direct film construction. Two Turks head knots stop the fender rolling around the bow of your boat This fender attaches to the bow of your canal narrowboat by thee chain fittings that are interlocked right through the rope core. U Bow fenders can be bent around the bow of most boats and are typically used on wide beam boats where bows are usually flatter. Also can be combined with a V Bow fender for boats with high bows. The U Bow protects the bottom of the stem post while the V Bow protects the top.
