The TR Double Ear Hose Clamp (O-Clip) is made from a choice of materials and is an economical solution for many single pipe assemblies. Double ear hose clamps can be used with air or other liquids. These O clips are ideal for demanding applications involving soft or hard rubbers and plastics. The ears of the hose clamp must be closed with the recommended uniform force resulting in constant tension in the clamping material, without overloading the clamp or parts to be assembled. The nominal diameter of the two ear chains should always be chosen, so that when you install them with the right clamping force, the ears are almost closed.
