Product description Somnoguard 3 is a one-part mandibular advancement device to treat snoring and mild or moderate obstructive sleep apnoea. The Oral Appliance Is Made of Thermoplastic Material That, After Being Heated In Boiled Water, Becomes Soft and Mouldable and Can Be Formed According to the teeth and jaw during the fitting process. The new design of somnoguard 3 allows for a good retention and a secure fit. The advancement of the lower jaw is achieved through biting into the thermoplastic material. Somnoguard 3 keeps the lower jaw in a front position and opens the upper airways. Hereby the soft tissue and muscles of the upper airways remain tightened so that the tongue does not fall back and blocks the airways. Snoring is reduced or at best even prevented.
