Discover Tomato 'Akoya' F1, a truly unique addition to your vegetable patch. This exceptional bush variety is renowned for its striking glossy black fruit, which develop a deep, luscious red at the base with dark black shoulders packed with beneficial anthocyanins. Not only do these cocktail-sized tomatoes (20-30g) look remarkable, but they also offer an exceptional flavour experience. 'Akoya' stands out further with its remarkable 'stay green' characteristic, meaning its leaves remain a vibrant green throughout the season, resisting the yellowing often seen in other varieties. 'Akoya' F1 also boasts very good tolerance to late blight, a common concern for tomato growers, giving you more confidence in a successful harvest. Perfect for growing in pots or directly in the ground, this determinate bush tomato will reach a height of approximately 45cm (18in) with a spread of 25cm (10in). Enhance your garden by companion planting with French marigolds to deter whitefly, or basil, chives, and mint to help repel aphids and other common pests.
