The TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE BB Toggle Anchor provides secure grip made of various hollow materials, 3/8" to 3 3/4" thick, including plasterboard, drywall and concrete block, includes 1/4"-20 UNC screws and is made in the USA. The anchor channel does not rotate when installing the screw, whether by hand or with a screw gun, and stays in place when the bolt is removed to facilitate fastening and screw replacement. If using screws other than the included screws, the anchor accepts 1/4"-20 UNC metal screws with a minimum length equal to the thickness of the item being fastened and the thickness of the mounting hardware plus 1/2 ". Snaptoggle anchor meets federal specification FF-B-588-D for Type V anchors. The anchor consists of a corrosion-resistant, galvanized steel anchor channel that plugs into walls, ceilings or floors through a 1/2" drill hole and attaches to the back of the mounting hardware; plastic straps attached to the channel that position it; and a plastic cap that slides down the straps and presses firmly into the drill hole to lock the anchor channel behind the mounting hardware. Once the cap is put on, the straps snap off by hand. The item to be attached is attached to the mounting material by inserting and tightening one of the supplied screws through the item, into the drill hole and through the anchoring channel behind the material.
