Our kindling comes from sustainable forests. No additional lighter except newspaper is required for this wood. This saves costs and is more environmentally friendly. Pine and spruce are the two types of wood used. Both types of wood have a high resin content, so are easily flammable. The kindling burns long enough to light the firewood. The residual moisture is below 20% and is therefore ideal for heating and turning.
