Product description TNC CalMag is a liquid concentrate containg calcium and magnesium which can protect your plants from symptons of deficiency in these two elements. Calcium is an essential mineral used in the production of new plant cells. It is not mobile within the plant. it is conducted up from the roots by the xylem and if it is not available on a continuous basis, new cells cannot be created. If it is in short supply it is evident when new growth (the part of the plant furthest from the roots) fails to develop properly and either curls or dies. It is referred to as leaf tip burn, blossom end rot etc. Magnesium is an essential component of chlorophyll which is used in the process of photosynthesis and which gives leaves their green colour. Yellowing of the leaf veins indicates a lack of magnesium. Both calcium and magnesium are often present in the water supply (hard water) but they are not present in soft water RO water or rainwater. Directions 1. Determine the appropriate dosage. 2. Mix with water. 3. Apply to plants with existing nutrients. 4. Repeat as needed.
