Product Description French Marjoram (or Sweet Marjoram as it is known) essential oil is derived from an aromatic herb, native to Egypt and Turkey, where it was regarded as a sign of happiness. 17th Century herbalist, Nicholas Culpeper, recommended Sweet Marjoram as a natural soother of menstrual cramps and the herb is still used today by aroma therapists due to its effective anti-spasmodic and relaxing properties. Blended with softer, floral oils, French Marjoram is known to ease erratic moods and support the mental state during times of stress. Directions Use in a diffuser/oil burner or in a homemade blend with a carrier oil to use as a facial treatment, body oil, or bath oil. Safety Warning For external use only. Suitable in massage blends for normal skin. Not recommended for those with sensitive or allergy-prone skin. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Avoid contact with sensitive areas, such as eyes.
