The principle of Timeline is very simple: each player draws four cards that beautifully illustrated represent an invention. On the back of each card there is also the year number. At the start of the game, a card is revealed to which all players must orient themselves. The first player then chooses one of his cards. If he believes the date of his card's invention is before the date of the first card, he puts his card to the left of the first card. If he thinks his invention originated later, he places his card to the right of the initial card. Then the card is turned over - if the year is right, then it will lie down. If not, the card is discarded and the player must draw a new card. Whoever gets rid of all cards first wins at Timeline.
