Product description Cosy Space Tile Backer Boards are made from XPS foam boards (CFC free, blue closed cellcore) in core and coated with fibre glass mesh and polymer cement mortar on both sides. This makes the tile backer board an ideal base for setting tiles using the thin-bed process. The XPS foam board within is 100% waterproof and offers exceptional resistance to water vapours. As proof, these panels meet the most stringent standards of ASTM and ANSI who perform tests for waterproofing and test for suitability for use of a waterproof installation when seams and fastener heads are properly treated.
