Research shows that you should test your water quality Weekly, so it is important to test the water parameters of your Aquarium regularly to keep the water clean. This would give you an indication of how often the filter cartridge needs to be replaced. Our cartridges provide optimum filtration to ensure great water quality. If medicating fish, please remove the Activated Carbon Filter cartridge, as it neutralises the effects of medication. To replace the filter cartridge simply remove the filter top cover to expose the cartridges. Pull the used filter cartridge straight up using the cartridge tab. Wash the new filter cartridge (to remove dust) prior to installing into the filter by aligning the key slot.
