Maintains greater sharpness and is less affected by highlight flare than the standard fog filter. 3 density provides a noticeable fog effect. Requires no exposure compensation to balance the filter effect. The Tiffen Double Mist Filter simulates the effects of natural mist or mist by creating a gentle glow around highlights and lowering the overall contrast of the scene. Compared to the standard fog filter, this filter places more emphasis on lowering contrast while maintaining sharpness and minimizing the effects of stray light. The density provides a noticeable fog effect and requires no exposure compensation.
