Across literally thousands of gardens in the UK this summer, average 45 year old man will be working in his garden every weekend. Painting hisshed (again), laying more lawn (again): and then at lunchtime the time will come to put down his Cuprinol and light up the trusty barbecue ("3 years of loyal service so far..."). The neighbours are coming round for sausages and burgers - again. But what music will he play? Scissor Sisters and James Morrison have been played so much the cds have warped: How about "The Ultimate BBQ Album??" - its cool, but accessible tracklist is great, theres something for everyone, and most importantly, it makes him look cool. So we arrive at "The Ultimate BBQ Album": above is a hypothetical scenario, but one which we all know exists. This project is a conceptual idea aimed squarely at the UK's huge BBQ population.
