The Nelson Method for Practicing Sight Reading on the Guitar

This is a study for the serious guitarist and is intended to bridge the leap from the beginning method book to the classical etudes. You will learn to read a fuller range of natural notes on the guitar through two additional scales (the natural 5th position scale and the natural 8th position scale).In addition to covering the range of most etudes standard to the repertoire, you will find a new fingering method that deals directly with harmonic textures. There are 16 new harmonc fingerings that go along with the melodic fingerings of the natural scales in 1st, 5th, and 8th position. One month's worth of sight reading exercise is included at the end.
