Product description Waxworms are the larvae of the Waxmoth, specially treated with a completely natural process to inhibit pupation and aid storage. They are fed on delicious nutrients such as honey and wheatgerm. Highly nutritious with soft skins, Waxworms are ideal for feeding to any lizard, insectivorous aviary bird or wild bird. Waxworms do not need transferring to any special container, they are fine in the tub they are supplied in and do not need feeding at all. Indications for all bird species Directions Waxworms should be stored at 12-15°C in their shipping container. Every 2-3 days, check the container and remove any dead worms to avoid the rest of the worms becoming spoiled.
