R&B/Soul / G&D is a galacti-fonk supergroup comprised of Georgia Anne Muldrow (handling all beatified soundscapes and vocals) and Dudley Perkins a.k.a. Declaime (handling creative direction and vocals/rap verse). While both have extensive discographies in their own right, THE LIGHTHOUSE is their second official team effort that features clever handiwork by DJ Romes (of the legendary Lootpack crew), and guest vocals from LMNO and Miki Vale. These two are a singular healing force with a sociopolitical voice and vibe that acknowledges the past and embodies the future of music simultaneously. Georgia Anne Muldrow & Dudley Perkins aka Declaime are G&D! The 2nd studio album from the collective of Georgia Anne Muldrow & Dudley Perkins aka Declaime. Produced entirely by Georgia Anne Muldrow. Artwork done by Japanese painter Tokio Aoyama. Pre-Release digital single, 7 & video for Pop Stoper will be released 1 month before the album release. Both Dudley Perkins aka Declaime and Georgia Anne Muldrow have released several records and have garnered a strong fanbase for each individually + as a group. This marks SomeOthaShip Connect s 10th official release since the label s inception in 2009. The first G&D album received reviews/coverage in outlets such as: Pitchfork, Allmusic, RollingStone.com & more. A video for Pop Stopper and was shot and will be serviced to the following outlets: MTVU, MTV Networks, Music Choice, Centric (BET), MuchMusic & Aux. A G&D spring US tour is currently in the planning, aswell as a summer tour in Europe.
