Sci-fi mini-series from the makers of 'American Gangster' and based on the novel by Michael Crichton. In a sleepy desert town, a satellite carrying a deadly disease has just fallen from the sky. Within an hour, all the people in the town, apart from a child and a drunken old man, are dead. An elite scientific unit, led by Dr Jeremy Stone (Benjamin Bratt), is sent to the town to study the virus, determine its origin and figure out a way to stop it - before it's too late.
