This XCSRC RFID Contactless Safety Switch is designed for use as a safety interlock switch for guard door or protective casings monitoring and position detection on machines with low inertia. It has 2 NO Solid State PNP safety outputs (OSSDs). It is a daisy-chain model with 2 possible new re-pairing of blank transponders. Daisy-chain models have 2 integrated M12 connectors for direct series cabling. It has a high level of coding (unique code) according to EN/ISO 14119. Its integral LEDs offer a local Signaling, allowing it to clearly display the status of the device. No need for T or Y connectors. Possible connection to a simple safety relay. Series diagnosis is available thru a diagnostic module. Its PFHD reliability data is 5 x 10⁻¹⁰. It has a plastic body with M12 connectors x 2. Its IP65 / IP66 / IP67 / IP69K degree of protection and ECOLAB compatibility makes it ideal for heavy duty use in harsh conditions and hygiene environments. It also complies with EN/ISO 14119, EN/IEC 60947-5-2, EN/IEC 60947-5-3 standards. When associated and correctly connected to an appropriate safety control unit, it conforms to category 4, performance level PL e, SIL 3 as described in EN/ISO 13849-1, EN/IEC 61508.
