Clean the wound and surrounding area. 2. Remove the dressing from its packaging, ensuring the protective layer remains intact. 3. Position the dressing over the wound, with the non-adherent pad in direct contact with the wound. 4. Gently press the dressing into place, ensuring it adheres to the skin around the wound. 5. Secure the dressing with tape or a bandage as needed. 6. Change the dressing regularly, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
