´ TechniSat Surge Protector USS1 The USS1 coaxial surge protector reliably protects sensitive electrical devices and electronic components in satellite reception and distribution systems from surges, e.g. e.g. in close lightning strikes or as a result of static charges. In addition to properly executed lightning protection potential equalisation, the USS1 effectively protects your electronic devices from surges up to 4,000 volts. Installation is very simple: in satellite distribution systems, USS1 is simply screwed onto the device inputs of the multi-switches to be protected (preferably in conjunction with grounding angles). Similarly, USS1 can be installed as surge protection on the antenna inputs of satellite receivers or on TVs with F-connector, as well as cable modems. USS1 can be used in a frequency range up to 2.6 GHz (e.g. antenna, broadband, microwave, GPS, mobile and CATV systems).
