Turn off water pump and release pressure 2. Remove leaver cap and retaining screw - remove leaver 3. Remove / unscrew curved top by hand 4. Using water pump pliers of adjustable spanner remove nut 5. Lift out cartridge 6. Replace with new and rebuild tap Ceramic Tap cartridge Features: The cartridge can resolved the problem of a tight and squeaky mixer tap. I would suggest that this is the same cartridge for the washroom taps also. Much cheaper and defiantly easier than replacing the whole tap. Be wary of over-tightening the top nut when fitting.
