The delightful, detailed pick-up body is mounted on the same chassis as the Ford F-350 High-Lift and combines nostalgia with modern mechanics. The radio controlled Toyota Hilux High-Lift amazes at first glance with a wealth of authentic details: faithful lettering, sculpted indicators and headlights, a real ladder frame - and even leaf springs catch the eye. TAMIYA has set a monument to the legendary model, built over 12 million times. The model shows the generation first released in 1979 with round headlights. Mud and silt are no problem for the four-wheel chassis: in addition to permanent 4x4 drive, the model even has manually lockable differentials and if a slope seems too steep, simply switch down a gear. Because the mini pick-up even has a switchable three-speed transmission. The 49 cm long RC version lives up to the myth Hilux.
