Product Description The stand model is a recreation of the Japanese fighter with the name Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien. Due to the fact that the Ki-61 had owned a liquid-cooled engine, the Hien was apparently mistaken for a German aircraft and was therefore nicknamed "Tony". The fighter aircraft experienced the first combat operations in early 1943 and proved that it was quite competitive with a top speed of 580 km/h. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its high accuracy of fit as well as by attention to detail. Suitable for the 1:48 fighter aircraft, the Kurogane reconnaissance vehicle in scale 1:48 rounds off the diorama. The Kurogane was used with 4800 produced copies for the Japanese Army as well as for the Navy. Safety Warning Not suitable for children under 14 years.
