Product description
Tacom "1/35 M28A1/A2 Super Heavy Assault Tank" plastic model. The T28 Heavy Tank (T95 Tank Destroyer) is a prototype heavy tank without pivoting turret designed in America during World War II. Decided to be developed in 1943 and named T28 in 1944, this car was equipped with firepower that could destroy the German military heavy/destroy tanks deployed on fortress lines built in Europe. The T28 was renamed into a T95 tank destroyer in 1945 without a pivoting turret. The two T28 (T95) manufactured were examined by the Aberdeen Performance Test Lab and Fort Knocks until 1947. One of the most distinctive features of this vehicle, the internal and outer dual-row running gear and tracks have been designed to reduce ground pressure to support a combat weight of up to 90 tons. The outer running gear can be removed and removed with the side skirt, and when transporting the railway or driving the pavement. The removed, left and right outer driving gear was also designed to tow the rear of the vehicle in combination with the side skirts. The only assault gun-type combat vehicle of the US Army, the T28 is the result of the end of the war and the operational constraints of the low mobility and overweight. Development plans ceased in October 1947 when inspecting the T29 heavy tanks, which began in 1944 was prioritized. One of the two prototyped cars is displayed in the Putton Tank Museum in Fort Knocks. Main hatch can be opened or closed. Suspension and wheels are movable. You can remove the outer running gear to recreate the pulling position. Movable tracks (jig included) Includes etching, metal barrel, clear parts, and 4 marking options. Figure not included.
