This calendar has 24 pieces to slot in on a daily basis. The pieces are provided on two sheets within the calendar and can be kept separately for future years so that the calendar becomes part of the Christmas tradition. They are 290 x 290mm and are supplied cello wrapped. The Nutcracker- this calendar tells the story of The Nutcracker and depicts the scenes of the main house, the Land of Ice and Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. The story is detailed on the back cover, and the pieces slot in to tell the story, culminating in the meeting of Clara and Hans-Peter. The calendar and pieces are based on original embroideries by Heidi Rhodes of Brighton.
