These perennials with their fragrant blooms are a must for your wildlife summer garden being particularly attractive to bees and other insects. The flower petals are edible and have a clove like taste and can be added to cakes, soups and salads too. This variety produces blooms in shades of white, pink and mauve upon stiff upright stems in summer. Height: 60cm (24”). Spread: 30cm (12”). Pot up Sweet William plug plants and grow them on in frost free conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting into any fertile, well-drained soil, in full sun.
