Sweet Cicely Seeds - Myrrhis odorata - Hardy Perennial Herb - 1 Pack 10 Seeds

• Sweet Cicely (Myrrhis odorata) is a hardy, aniseed-scented perennial herb in the UK, known for its feathery green leaves and white flowers, popular in herb/wild gardens, especially in partial shade, used to sweeten tart fruits (like rhubarb), flavour salads/soups, and attract pollinators, with edible leaves, seeds, and roots.
• Sweet cicely seed germination requires cold stratification, mimicking winter conditions, which breaks seed dormancy for spring sprouting. Sow seeds outdoors in autumn directly in the soil, or indoors by chilling them in moist compost/sand for 4-8 weeks in the fridge (3-4°C) before planting in spring.
• Germination can be slow, taking weeks or months after the cold period.

Approximately 10 Sweet Cicely seeds packed in Glassine Envelopes with sowing guide.
